2025 Consulting Packages - Limited Availability

At Guarded Edge, we focus on helping long-term care providers self-implement and manage HIPAA compliance and data security across departments. The toughest work: No question, it's in establishing a baseline data security program that aligns daily procedures with policy requirements.

If you need one-on-one help, we're here. To start the new year, we have two offers for organizations committed to achieving the following objectives within four to six months:

1. Adoption of a complete HIPAA Security Policy Manual.

2. Completion of a compliant risk assessment under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

   
   

3. Completion of a risk mitigation plan that prioritizes the most urgent data security vulnerabilities.

If you're serious about getting these things done, one of the following two plans may be for you.

Plan 1

Includes our ABCs to HIPAA Compliance Plan & HIPAA Expert on Call Service for a year, including extensive templates, task lists and guides in policy implementation, risk assessment and managment processes.

Weekly group meetings, conducted virtually, to discuss processes for enacting policies and completing a risk assessment.  Each meeting will include discussion/interaction around solutions and tactical implementation of the following focal points:

• Organizational preparedness for a risk assessment 

• Email security

• Network security/Internet of Things

• IT best practices

• Breach reporting processes and response plans 

• Staff training and awareness  

• Policy implementation 

• Management of Business Associate Agreements 

• Building security requirements

• Administrative oversight 

• Authorizations for Release of Information

• Remote work protocols

• Sanctions and enforcement

Following the topic-specific sessions, we will continue weekly sessions for an additional four weeks to answer questions and guide implementation.

Note that we will survey participants in advance to arrange meeting times that work for all. If needed, we will offer to two time slots weekly or make-up meetings.

Cost: $6,500 per organization (multiple individuals from participating organizations may attend)

Plan 2 (Limited to 3 organizations for Q1 2025)

This plan includes all of the above, plus one-on-one private consulting:

We will conduct weekly, one-hour virtual sessions to focus on the specific needs of your organization. The sessions will extend up to 18 weeks to help your organization complete a HIPAA Security Policy Manual and a compliant risk assement. We will sign a Business Associate Agreement to assure confidentiality.

In particular, these one-on-one sessions will focus on workflow analysis within your organization. That will allow us to identify processes that need to be corrected or enhanced. Meetings will necessarily involve a mix of senior leaders and managers, allowing an analysis of workflow patterns in different facilities and departments.

Cost: $10,00 per organization
